My good friend and session drummer Alvaro wanted to talk to me about Ableton and The DSP Project and also suggested recording it. Its a bit of a mixed talk but I thought some of you might find it interesting.

On a side note I am sorry we are behind on our release schedule. A lot has been going on around here with big changes in the works, I will explain all about it in the next episode, where we will also finally give away the Impact Twin.

Peter Thomas is the chief designer and founder of PMC, so its fair to say he knows a thing or two about studio monitors. Even though jet lagged from a long tour of Asia Peter kindly agreed to talk to us about his history in the BBC, starting PMC and monitor design. Half of iconic multimedia group Hexstatic and now his intensly impressive 3D solo project Holotronica Stuart has earned a lot of respect in both music and art circles as a true innovator. I went to visit him to check out his latest work, drool over his impressive analogue synth collection and talk about the eigenharp and the future of 3D performance.

Tim Debney is one of London’s leading mastering engineers, armed with probably the most amazing sounding PMC monitoring system and room (acoustically speaking) Ive heard you can see why many top artists trust him to compleate their work. I was at Fluid Mastering getting a Kilotone Remix of a Sick Cycle’s Hive Mind mastered and Tim kindly agreed to answer some questions.

Not only is he very sharp technically having worked at the renowned Metropolis Studios, but has tried a vast amount of gear doing reviews for MusicTech magazine.
